Strength Effect and “Getting Strong for Life” is about focusing on fitness that matters. Strength training is key to crafting your optimal health and fitness profile and is one of the most impactful ways to enhance the results of any goal and your quality of life. Whatever your age or experience level you are capable of training to transform your fitness, unlock your athleticism and optimize your health.

The training process begins with a thorough consultation including your exercise history, lifestyle habits, and goals so that we can understand your complete health and fitness story. Next, we create your first personalized training program designed to help you achieve your primary goals. We will evaluate your progress with feedback sessions, performance tests, planned rest or a direct segue to a new training cycle.

We focus on building a broad base of foundational movements and cardiovascular conditioning by selecting exercises that are ideal for your skill and body-type. This will include working out with bodyweight and  free-weight exercises that use compound muscle, multi-joint movements like squats, deadlifts, presses, pulls, planks and loaded carries. We select only the most efficient and useful exercises to include in your training program.

Your training program will be sensibly designed and geared toward clear performance goals. The aim is to progressively challenge you and safeguard your results. It is critical to be mindful of your motivation, stress level, sleep quality, and nutrition so that we can pivot to provide coaching  that pushes you to perform, leaving you energized not depleted.

I help clients of all ages and experience levels prioritize their health and fitness and get strong for life. You can expect to see results in areas such as body composition, muscular strength, endurance and hypertrophy, balance, cardiovascular stamina, joint flexibility and mobility, as well as posture and breathing patterns. 

You will also learn about the training process which will equip you with the skill-set and confidence to train on your own. There is no secret method that gives the best results. Instead, we apply principles of exercise science to make the best decisions at that moment. With your commitment and trust in our partnership we can guide you toward achieving life-changing results.

1:1 Personal Training

60 or 90 minute sessions built around your needs. We will work together to develop a custom training plan that will blend fitness, nutrition, and recovery methods to guide you toward optimizing your health.

The program starts with a comprehensive 60 minute consultation. During this session we will explore your goals, exercise history, nutrition practices as well perform a foundational movement screen. Once we’ve explored these areas, I’ll make some recommendations for how to proceed and we will discuss the details of your training plan.

1:1 VIRTUAL TRAINING

60 minute training sessions are held virtually so you can stay on top of your health from home and when you travel. This program includes everything from in-person training, all achieved remotely.

The program starts with a comprehensive 60 minute virtual consultation. It will include all of the elements from above as well as covering the particular needs for at-home training such as setting up your training space and getting the right equipment.

REMOTE COACHING

Looking for more guidance? This package includes monthly, app-based, personalized training programs plus a 30 minute monthly strategy call to review your progress and create goals that set you up for success.

The program starts with a comprehensive 60 minute virtual consultation. It will include all of the elements from above as well as instructions on how to navigate your training program.
